According to Article 11 of the Macedonian Citizenship Law (Particular Economic Interest) and in particular based on the Government Decree for determination of particular scientific, economic, cultural, sports or other national interest for gaining citizenship of North Macedonia, is regulated that,
To the foreigner which is adult and granting Macedonian citizenship to him/her does not endanger the security and defense of North Macedonia, which applied for Macedonian citizenship and which fulfills the following criteria:
the applicant to be top manager proven worldwide,
is high technology expert in technologies which are not applied in North Macedonia,
is expert in area in which exist deficit (lack) of experts,
realizes economic cooperation with businesses from North Macedonia,
realizes direct investments in existing business objects, in construction of new capacities in the country or in long term securities,
invests in the IP area , know – how innovation and technological development,
contributes for promotion of the economy of North Macedonia abroad and
donates and contributes for donations for realization of economic reforms and other priorities of North Macedonia.
